Savannah
I’ve been teaching IB Biology for 9 years, mostly with HL students who need sharper exam technique as well as proper subject knowledge. A lot of my work is around data-based questions, experimental design and IA planning, because that’s where capable students often drop marks. I particularly enjoy genetics and human physiology, and I’m used to working with students who are aiming for 6s and 7s. I also spend a lot of time helping students organise revision sensibly in the final months.

Karter
I’m an IB Biology tutor with a background in biomedical science and a fairly no-nonsense teaching style. We spend time on what actually comes up in the course: application questions, command terms, graph work and the IA. I teach both SL and HL, but I’m especially good at helping students who know the content and still aren’t scoring as well as they expect in class tests or mocks. I also review lab-based questions carefully, as they can be surprisingly costly.

Kingston
Hi, I tutor IB Biology online and I’ve worked with students from Year 12 right through to final exam season. My lessons are usually quite practical: we go topic by topic, fix weak areas, then use past-paper questions to see what still isn’t sticking. I’m especially helpful with ecology, evolution and the IA write-up, which a lot of students find harder than they expected. I’m also used to students who need steady weekly support rather than last-minute cramming.

Julen
I currently teach IB Biology and have spent the last 11 years supporting students through the full course, including mock preparation and Internal Assessment feedback. My sessions are structured and detailed, with close attention to exam wording, biological terminology and how marks are actually awarded. I have a particular interest in cell biology and metabolism, and I work well with students who need a clear academic approach.

Kayden
I started tutoring IB Biology while finishing my master’s and ended up sticking with it because I genuinely like the subject and the one-to-one format. Most of the students I work with come to me for help with HL content, tricky short-answer questions and IA ideas that are too broad. I like teaching immunity and molecular biology, and I’m good at making revision feel a bit less chaotic near exam time.

Lennox
My work is focused entirely on IB Biology, so lessons stay close to the syllabus and the way the papers are marked. I’ve taught the course for 7 years and regularly help students who are struggling to move beyond memorising facts. A lot of that comes down to using the right terminology and being precise in longer responses. I particularly enjoy teaching ecology, statistics and experimental evaluation for the IA.

Kilea
I’m a friendly but fairly direct IB Biology tutor, and I tend to work best with students who want honest feedback on where they’re losing marks. We usually mix content review with past-paper practice, because in IB Biology knowing a topic isn’t always the same as answering it well. I’ve taught the course for 5 years and I especially like photosynthesis, respiration and the data questions that go with them.

Jayce
I have taught IB Biology in international school settings and in private tuition, with experience supporting both SL and HL students across the diploma programme. My approach is methodical rather than rushed: we secure the core ideas first, then apply them through mark schemes, structured responses and IA discussion. I am particularly interested in genetics and biotechnology, and I often help students prepare for demanding school assessments.
